In the latest issue of our diocesan newsletter there is an announcement that Bishop David Foley, currently the diocesan administrator, will officiate at a Mass using the the 1962 Roman Missal on 14 September at St. Paul’s Cathedral in B’ham. The announcement notes that 14 September is the first day opening the observance of Benedict XVI’s decree, and that this Mass will be the beginning of a process to “gather and train priests who wish to say Mass in this form.”
