Mormon Book of Abraham - what's up with that?

I was responding to someone who said that the lds church hides information from its members. The links that I post proved otherwise. The issue has been discussed in the official church magazine as demonstrated in the links that I have provided.

the LDS church continues to hide documents in their vaults and then restrict access to those in order to prevent people from seeing the evidence that this religion is false. just look what happened when their own historians were allowed to read some of these. the truth started to leak out and they had to ex people and fire professors form BYU. back in the 60’s the ensign proudly touted that the papyri had been found and how great that was. then real egyptologists showed what the scrolls really were and it all gets suppressed. years later it’s a whole new spin that these must not be the scrolls used to translate the BoA. any serious study of the facsimiles in the BoA show not only that they were but you can even see where JS filled in the damages sections with script from a different scroll of a different type and time period. it is completely ridiculous to even try to prop up this spurious work.
