Sorry. I was kinda joking, but your original comment seemed almost insulting to us right wing automatons. šŸ˜‰
Then write your own, don’t add insult by "fixing"someone else’s.

Besides you called yourself an ā€œautomatonā€, I said ā€œright wing conservativeā€, what is untrue about that? I was under the impression that left and right wing were positions as was conservative. Now I understand that here on CAF, ā€œleft wing liberalā€ is an invective, so I thought ā€œright wing conservativeā€ would be a badge of honor here.

I wonder if they’ll replace them if Romney loses? Right now, he’s the only game in town if you’re right-wing Conservative.
Mitt is the ONLY game in town if you are conservative, period…
…True, Mormonism IS a non Christian cult but I think Mitt will absolutely take the country in a better direction than Obama.

You’re right. The slightly lesser of two evils.

Consider how many Masses have been offered for Mitt (& Ryan & USA) in the past 6 months? Other prayers as well but none like Holy Mass.

Actually, he’s the only game in town if you are a blue dog democrat, blue collar democrat, Catholic democrat, Libertarian, or republican of any ilk.

And by his own admission abortion is not on his agenda .so voting for him does what exactly? It doesn’t further the pro-life cause at all if nothing is going to change! The platform doesn’t mean anything if the candiate already intends to ignore it.

If you agree with Romney on the economy or foreign policy, I can understand it-but if you’re voting for him because of abortion as a single issue then I think you will be sorely disappointed.

As for the evangelicals, I find the sudden turn on Mormonism humorous. The ONLY reason they’re doing it is because of Romney. Had Santorum won the nomination do you really think this would have occurred? It’s completely transparent that it’s purely politically motivated.
I have a feeling you are here to troll. Defunding Planned Parenthood is not changing laws but would be very Pro-life. Also, stopping federal funding of abortion via foreign aid would be considered pro-life by non-trolls

I’m quite glad that the Graham site got rid of the reference labeling the LDS church a cult. For one, I don’t believe it is a cult, and really we shouldn’t be labeling other religious groups as cults or non-Christian. Like really, what’s the point? All this is doing is causing divides between Christians, it’s promoting some form of hatred towards people. And Mormons are extremely nice people, and they are very sincere in their faith,

Actually two Mormon missionaries came to my house during the summer, and brought me a Book of Mormon and the KJV and were super nice to me. When I told them I’m not interested, they simply said have a nice day, shook my hand, and left. And they haven’t phoned or came back for a while now. I respect what the missionaries do, and I admire the closeness of the congregations, and the churches efforts to help the needy. And honestly, I wish the Catholic church could do the same.

It’s really just a boring and mellow atmosphere when I go to church. And there’s absolutely no Bible study groups, or anything like that. We should be promoting the Bible, not just rely on tradition and our Pastors. My grandmother, who’s in her mid-70s has NEVER read the Bible in her life, and I find that shocking and sad. The Mormons on the other hand have classes to teach the Bible, and we should have classes at churches as well.

So like I said before, I am glad the reference has been removed. All this cult talk is just causing divides and hate, and it needs to stop.

PS: I’m not bashing or saying the Catholic church is bad, I just think some things need to change, and all the bashing towards other faiths is really just a waste of time and is foolish. Also, I understand some people have had bad experiences with the LDS church, and I respect their stance on the church.

That’s making the assumption that he’ll not change his mind againā€¦šŸ˜ƒ

So start a Bible study group.

BTW, Mormons don’t have Bible study groups.

The problem I have with labeling Mormonism a cult is that I don’t think that ā€œcultā€ as popularly used is very well defined. There are plenty of angles from which to criticize Mormonism without calling it a cult.

That just shows you that Mitt and the Republican Party alonside Billy Graham was part of a show. I understand that one makes mistakes, and that sometimes we judge a book based on its cover. But why did Graham take Mormon out of the Cult list. Like I said it was a political show

Thou seest we are not all alone unhappy:
This wide and universal theatre
Presents more woeful pageants than the scene
Wherein we play in.

As a libertarian Romney was never a game in town. I could never vote for him, and didn’t.
