Hi, Answersplease,
I read your post and the quote from the instructions to Catholics on this website. I challenge anyone who has sincerely followed the qualities I have noted, to explain the circumstances merely to show their sincerity, including at least being able to recall from memory something memorable from one or more of the “testimonies” of the prophets in the Book of Mormon to demonstrate that they read and thought about what they were reading (without just grabbing a passage–doing it from memory).

They won’t be able to do it, not sincerely, from the heart.

I did no such thing. I pointed out the logical incoherence of adhering to a particular formula in order to receive one “right” answer to a particular prayer. No amount of rhetorical analysis will change that fact that this is called: preconditioning, or, the power of suggestion…all good reasons to call the practice what it is. CULT.
