Here is a story about how the republicans and democrats(Governor Spritzer) now have made available state money to pay for an over-the counter prescription. This will probably be one of the rare exception to most medical health plans as well as most health plans don’t pay for over-the counter but I check with a few pharmacies and they said it will still be covered by health plans.
Republican Governor Pataki implemented plan to make it available.
