This afternoon on the Hugh Hewitt radio program Morton Kondrake said"if Michael Steele(R.senatorial candidate Md.) really wanted his sister cured he would support **all **stem cell research". Kondrake’s wife Millie, as you may know, died of parkinsons. M.Steeles sister, an MD, has MS. An outrageous statement by Kondrake. Do you think the MSM will run with this as they did with the lie and distortion of what Rush L. said re: M. Fox? God Bless Rush for challenging the M.Fox ad and all the embryonic stem cell proponents all week on his radio show!!!

Steele is a good many but he has an uphill fight against the Democrat, going after this long-Democratic Senatorial seat vacated by Paul Sarbanes. I hope people turnout and support him!

He is a Catholic who lives by Catholic teachings. Contrasted to Maryland’s other Senator, Barbara Mikulski, who claims to be Catholic but stands fdor many things that are mortal sins in our Church.

Maryland is just as liberal as Massachucetts. If O’Malley wins look for Gay Marriage to happen here. Steele is terriffic - it should be a no-brainer, but its Maryland - expect the dead and illegals to vote big.

Surprised at Mort Kondrake - he is a sane Democrat. I notice the closer we have gotten to the election the more partisan he has become. I still like his analysis and his show on Fox News though.

And to think my little sister is a budding Democrat who has her foot in the door of Maryland politics… She’s all for stem cell research and such. :nope: She told me that I could always vote for Ben Cardin (she helped with his campaign a bit) because he’s “more conservative”.

BTW, one person running for state Senate, Craig Borne, was her teacher (he’s blind).

I think I’ll stick with the Republicans, or vote Independant if there’s any canidates.

But what I want to know is… Why is Maryland politics so news-worthy amongst the major news media compared to other states lately?

I watch the ‘Beltway Boys’ sometimes and I got the impression he felt that way. I don’t think he believes stem cells are extracted from humans…I think he thinks just cells
