I’m curious if anyone knows how things are going in the Moscow-Constantinople Schism in the Orthodox Church? I’ve searched Google but I can’t find anything less than 6 months old that gives any updates. Have relations improved? Any thoughts on the chances of restoring unity there or does this seem like it’s going to be permanent?

The hierarchs of six autocephalous churches recently met in Amman, Jordan and held a conference discussing Church Unity, at which they decided to hold another conference in the future to plan for a Pan-Orthodox Council. They decided that a Council would only be held if all the Local Churches agreed to attend.

Here is link to OrthoChristian.com, but be forewarned, it is a site connected to the Moscow Patriarchate and most of the political articles are extremely biased in favor of their position. Also the anti-Catholic perspective is overwhelming, but please know that this is not the position of everyone in the Orthodox Church, just the position of some who claim to speak for entire Orthodox Tradition.
