Hello everyone. My mother suffers chronic pain as a result from an accident back in September. Today she had to travel 2 hours to see her doctor for an appointment and ends up being that he left and didn’t get to see her. My mother had x-rays and scans done before seeing him and as she waited to see him for some time, a nurse walks into her exam room and realizes she is there waiting on the doctor and by then he had left already for the day and won’t be back until Monday. She wanted to see him because she had the appointment scheduled since a while back and had been waiting to see him. Now she has to wait till Monday and continue to suffer great amounts of physical pain. I am in our hometown and feel so impotent. My father is with her and says that after she had her scans and xrays done they gave him some paper work that he supposedly had to turn in to the front desk so they could call her. They didn’t tell him to turn in the paper work at front. He didn’t know, therefore, because he didn’t turn in the paper work, the doctor left without seeing her. There was a total misunderstanding and now my father feels guilty and I feel like I can’t do much and my mother is suffering. He did get to talk to people there telling them what happened, but there is nothing they can do other than to apologize and have my mother go back to see him till Monday. She is not dying, but I guess you can say that the physical pain she goes through is enough to make anyone feel like dying
