I’ve read about the novena. However, I haven’t prayed it, and don’t think I ever will. Whenever I see—“Never known to fail”—“Guaranteed to work”, especially about a prayer, novena, chaplet, whatever, somehow, it doesn’t seem right to me. This is my personal opinion, not meant to offend anyone.

Yes, Mother Teresa prayed this “novena” of Memorare’s 9 times very often and for all kind of needs and intentions

Only Mother Teresa did not call it Emergency or Express Novena she and we call it Flying Novena and often she prayed a 10th Memorare in Thanksgiving for the grace or favor asked for…

One must keep in mind that a Novena is not a magic formula and should not be a superstitious practice. Prayer always assumes that you have faith, humility and dependence on God and His divine will. Therefore, the Novena should also become an opportunity to practice greater openness to God’s will and, ultimately, to learn how to better surrender to His providential plan.

We must also remember that "according to the Scriptures is the heart that prays. If it is far from God, the assurance of prayer is vain. " (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2562)

Yes, I’ve seen Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s 9 Memorare Novena mentioned a few times so I had to ask the Missionaries of Charity about it. When I really need to know something I go right/straight to the source as they would provide the most accurate answers.

I love Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s Flying Novena – if anyone Prays this particular Novena remember to Pray an extra Memorare in Thanksgiving.

I have prayed it over little things (my roommate snores and I’ll say it quietly if I want to fall asleep ) and my prayer is usually answered. It’s a great little novena, even to just bring some peace of mind.
