I just wanted to share the trailer for a movie hopefully coming out in the next year titled: Mr. Jones! It is based on the story of Gareth Jones, a Welsh journalist who tried to break the story of the Holodomor (Ukrainian Famine) which happened in 1932 - 1933.

Sadly this film is still looking (I believe) for a US distributor. It’s unfortunate that no Hollywood director has been willing to take this story (or any story about the atrocities committed in Communist Countries) which is in comparison to the amount of films about the Shoah aka “The Holocaust” that have been made within Hollywood. Clearly Hollywood does not want to confront the horrific history of the Communist Era due to it’s hatred of Capitalism and adoration of Socialism!

Please support this film and see it when it released!

 
I am sure it will get some kind of art house/ independent distribution, which would probably bring it the best kind of attention.

I have a work colleague who with her parents emigrated from the USSR and her parents were Ukrainian and lived through this. She told me some truly awful stories a couple of times. I know my own ancestors went through severe genocidal famine but it was my great-grands and great-great-grands rather than my parents, so I don’t get to hear their stories first hand. Awful stuff.

How did you deduce that I find the actor attractive from what I posted?

The OP wants us to support the movie. I said I sure can do that.
