Hi. I can’t find the old movie I watched as a child.
it’s seems to be in mexico. The sisters of mercy and the girls orphanage school. One nun plays the guitar, and the Mother Sister. The guitar playing Sister complains to the Mother that a child doesn’t go to her for help and instead goes to the Mother Sister. I/m sure it’s in the 60s.
thanks.

I’m wondering if it was “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows”. That was actually a sequel to the earlier “The Trouble with Angels”. I’m not sure if there was an orphanage; there was a girl’s school and the nuns took them on a trip which included a western dude ranch so that could be the part that was like Mexico.

The other movies of the era would include “The Singing Nun” (but that was set in Belgium), “Change of Habit” with Mary Tyler Moore and Elvis Presley, but that was set in New York City, and a TV series called “The Flying Nun” with Sally Field, which had orphans, Mexico, and probably had a 2 hour ‘pilot’ movie.

I watched them and no they aren’t them. The children were younger. Thanks for trying. There was a nun with a guitar. And Mother Superior and they did go to a sandy like mexico town. Unless they lived there.
