This past weekend I went to the movies for the first time in a long, long, time.

The film I saw was called “Amazing Grace,”
and it was about William Wilberforce and his efforts to abolish the British Slave Trade.

The film was magnificent, touching, and an all around fine piece of cinema. I strongly recommend it.

I really would love to see this - it does look outstanding.

Thanks for the review! 👍

I will put this one on my list, for sure.

Has anyone seen The Nativity?

DH and I just saw The Prestige. It’s a fictional story about two competing magicians around the turn of the century. One of the characters is Nikola Tesla played by – you’ll never guess unless you read about it! I think you can look at it as a morality story about how obsessiveness can lead to one’s demise. Anyway, we thought it was an intriguing story, and well done. No nudity or swearing, although I’d recommend this only for mature audiences (maybe 16 and up).

Check Decent Movies web site for ratings from a Christian perspective.
