I was listening to a podcast of a past Catholic Answers live and they talked about a website that reviews movies from a christian and/or Catholic perspective. Silly me deleted the podcast and forgot to write it down :banghead:. For the life of me, I cannot get Google to find it for me! It was not the USCCB movie reviews, it was another website. Thanks to all who can help!

I remember such a website before, but I’ve since forgotten the name of it. Might me on my bookmarks on my other computer…

It gave the public rating, and the adjusted Catholic rating.

EDIT: I think it was this site.

Hi,

The one I use is pluggedin.com. They have everything from movies, to music, tv, video games. I go there all the time for movie reviews. My 13 year old cant stand it:D

Hubby and I use “Catholic News Service”: catholicnews.com/movies.htm

We use it to judge if the movie is something our kids can or cannot see. Most people know what the MPAA ratings G, PG, etc… mean.

If you go to the web-page this is what their ratings mean:

A-I — general patronage
A-II — adults and adolescents
A-III — adults
A-IV — adults, with reservations (this indicates films that, while not morally offensive in themselves, are not for casual viewing because they require some analysis and explanation in order to avoid false impressions and interpretations)
L — limited adult audiences, films whose problematic content many adults would find troubling (replaced A-IV classification Nov. 1, 2003)
O — morally offensive

I don’t know if this is what you where looking for.

Thanks to all for your (name removed by moderator)ut! decentfilms.com was the website I was thinking of, but I bookmarked all suggested sites into one folder for Movie Reviews…
