MoviePass to Shut Down

The app once boasted several million subscribers at its peak,​

Gone. It was a subscription service for $9.95 a month that allowed you to see unlimited movies at theaters. I believe it was one per day.

I had never even heard of it, which is unfortunate because I love going to the movies but I rarely ever do because of the cost

I had MoviePass for a while and loved it. Then they started messing around with it and it basically lost its appeal to me so I dropped it. I wish it had worked out better.
