The movie is indeed long but I loved every minute of it. It’s an uplifting movie and I highly recommended it. I don’t think men will enjoy it as much as women.

What a fantastic marriage Julia Childs had!!! I want one of those marriages.

Towards the end of the movie Julie remarks to her husband that Julia Childs has made a negative remark about Julie being disrepectful towards her. I wish the movie would have gone into the reason why - but it doesn’t.

Hope you get to see it. Be prepared to have a strong desire to wear pearls and cook after you come out of the movie
