Where does one even begin? I’ve been praying and trying to trust in God, but I just can’t shake the feeling of grief. I feel so utterly lost. What more can I do?
Don’t flee from it. Don’t avoid the pain. You might need a psychologist.
Don’t try to fool yourself that this is just a spiritual issue. It is both spiritual and psychological.
Offer it up to God. If you need to see an expert make that an offering. Ask a Priest to say Mass for you.
It is easy to flee from pain but we shouldn’t. That would be mortal sin. It is one thing to choose to not feel all your pains since you are not ready do so yet but avoiding to seek a professional if you need one is mortal sin.
