my older daughter is an incredible young lady . She is in pharmacy school and walks the straight and narrow path. Away at college, she never fails to attend Mass and when home, continues to sing in our church choir. She has the mindset to be a virgin until she marries, and I commend her for that. Here’s the problem: she says that too many young men are only looking for "benefits w/ a relationship and that she is not interested in any of the nonsense. She also seems to be hung up on a guy that has very little in common compared to how her father and I raised her. This boy has no regards for attending Mass( no fault of his own) and apparently has issues w/ commitment. he is also 5 years older. I just wish that she could meet someone nice who will respect her for who she is and not just a “female body”. She is not currently “dating” this older boy, but does spend some time w/ him when available. I pray every day that one day she will date a young man who will lover her and respect her for who she is. ;

Dear Kate, I ask God to hear and grant the prayers of your heart for your daughter. Angels please surround this young woman and keep her safe, leading her to choose a good Cathlic boyfriend/husband.

Dear Lord, please watch over Kate’s daughter, and lead her in Your ways. Give her strength to continue in Your paths, and lead her to the man that You have chosen for her. In Jesus name we pray.

thank you all for your prayers. I know God has a plan for each one of us and I have great faith that when the time is right, a true gentleman will be introduced to my daughter, or vice versa. I will continue to pray for her as she becomes an independent young woman.
