I can attest to the hospitality of these sisters. When our family lived in St. Joseph, Missouri, Atchison was one of our recreational haunts. I had spoken on the phone with the receptionist at the Mount, and she kept assuring me that “you will be most welcome here!”
When we did finally get to visit the mount, the receptionist had already gone home for the day. A sister in a hot pink polyester dress with white lace trim was at the desk. Our toddlers were running around the reception area, and she kept saying, “You are loved,” to them.
There used to be two colleges in Atchison, but they merged to form Benedictine College.
No age limit is stated on the vocations page.
