Rick Astley’s “50” and Chance The Rapper’s “Coloring Book” (which is rap/hip-hop) have been my go-to’s for the past few weeks. I am particularly impressed at how CCM’y and Gospel’y Rick Astley (of “Never Gonna Give You Up” meme infamy) sounds, right down to the choir of backup singers and songs like “Keep Singing” and “Angels On My Side.” It was the #1 album in England this past week but is practically nonexistent here in the U.S. and wouldn’t have heard of it weren’t for the internet.
