I find it odd, if not agenda-driven that entire dioceses go so far as to ban the usage of the VERY MUSIC IN THE MISSAL. Very strange indeed.

To be honest, I’d rather not sing than sing that trash.

Next thing you know, we’ll be suffering through an AC/DC Mass setting.

Some Bishops want us to think the Mass is some kind of sentimental get-together, where we sway in the pews with smiling faces and fellowship, whilst the band plays a jazzy tune of Jesus Loves Me, then everyone is smiling at each other, yay hurray peaches-bisuits-and-cream.

Well they need to get a reality check. It’s not.

Music like such, drove people away from the Church. People went to Mass to receive Our Lord and to get a “sense of the Sacred” i.e. simple but beautiful chant, and maybe an occasional motet. Not to hear songs from the radio.
