Can someone tell me where I might purchase some church hymns cd’s? I would particularly like those hymns we sing in church. I have one Michael Talbot cd “Table Of Plenty”, but I am unfamiliar with other artists and would appreciate any help you may be able to give me.
Many Thanks!

What hymnal do yall use?
Our hymnal is “Gather”. I was asking about catholic singers that might sing some of the church hymns. I don’t know of any.
Thanks for your reply,
Kathy

the first edition? is it green? or the new second edition? Actually that’s not important, If you go to the website for GIA publications which prints the Gather hymnal, there’s a place to search for CD’s many which contain music you’d find in the Gather hymnal. Personally, my hymnal of choice is the Adoremus hymnal, and they have a set of CD’s you can buy that contains the first verse and refrains of ALL the hymns it contains, which i think is pretty cool. 🙂 Oh, the website… giamusic.com/sacred_music/index.cfm

check it out at e-bay… or the like… they are really quite abundant

The director of the Folk Choir, Steven Warner, is an old friend of mine, who has composed several hymns which you have probably sung, such as “Set Your Heart on the Higher Gifts” and “All Will be Well”.
