How is asking someone to pray for you a violation of monotheism?
It is not permissible to ask someone who is dead or absent to pray for you according to pray for according to tawhid (islamic monotheism).

The dead and absent are not able to hear our prayers, nor are they able to respond to them. Nor do they share power with God such that they can bring us benefit or avert from us harm. Nor are they able to bring us closer to God.

Ok. Just to make clear that the islamic idea of monotheism seems to not limit itself to rejecting the existence of other “gods”.

I personally agree with this
Nor do they share power with God such that they can bring us benefit or avert from us harm.
Neither the RC church, or the EO church, believes, to my knowledge, that the saints have any power of their own, or even parttake in God’s power. Their role is ONLY that they pray for us.
Nor are they able to bring us closer to God.
Not by themselves. But through the example they have shown us.
Personally, my heart is set on fire when I consider the bravery and piety of the martyrs for Christ - be it the 1st-4th century martyrs in the Roman Empire, or the modern martyrs from islamic countries, or any place else.

God has no mommy , daddy , kids. Mary (pbuh) is a humble servant of God .
Either you’re dodging the question, or deliberately trying to change the subject here…
Also , Mother Mary ( pbuh) died long ago. Christians should offer their prayers to God only.
As far as worship goes - true. But I frequently ask people to pray for me - and THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE RC TEACHINGS ON MARY IS!!!
She is seen as someone who PLEADS for us, prays for us.

If you have ever asked another person to pray for you, but then continue to say that not adressing God alone, is wrong, then you’re a hippocrite…

Tawhid is very comprehensive. It absolutely rejects the existence of other gods. The most fundamental belief in Islam is “La Ilaha illa-l-lah” or there is no deity worthy of worship but the God (Allah in Arabic).

A very brief summary of Tawhid

A good book on explaining tawhid is Kitab at Tawhid

“Quite pathetic.”

“The quran was conjured in the 7th century. Christianity belief of the Trinity was already stabilized at this time. Nobody was talking about Mary being part of the Trinity”

And nowhere does Qur’an state she was part of the Trinity.

Quite pathetic of you that you would try to misread The Qur’an for your own interpretation rather than reflect on it unbiasedly.

“nor she was the object fo worship.”

Maybe not, but just because she might not have been an object of worship then in the 7th century, she certainly did become an object of worship in the largest denomination of Christianity, the Roman Catholic Church. God knew this would happen so He mentioned it in The Qur’an.

This is actually a testimony to the truthfulness of Qur’an in a way.

Historically speaking, Muhammad(saw) could not have “gotten this teaching from Christians around him” because the Christians in Arabia were Nestorians who followed Nestorius who was excommunicated at the Council of Ephesus for rejecting the term “Mother of God.” They were also accused of calling Christ to be 2 persons, not 1. Although modern day Nestorians would deny this, the point is that the Christians that Muhammad(saw) would have been around had a strong emphasis on the humanity of Christ and NOT deifying his mother. That was Nestorius’s main concern that got him kicked out.

“The headquarters of the Church, Selucia-Ctesphon, was at a strategic place on both banks of the River Tigris, the center of travel between Europe and Asia. By the middle of the sixth century, the Church had spread into Egypt, Syria, Arabia, Mesopotamia, Persia, India, Ceylon, China, and Mongolia.”

“Sorry but Protestantism had not existed yet at that time.”

So what? Protestants still believe that Catholics worship Mary. If someone who you believe to be a Christian, although heretical and you call them “separated brethren” can hold such a position, why is it so unreasonable to you that someone Non-Christian would hold it?

In other words, if other people who are not Muslim, have no reason to be favorable to Islam, can come to the conclusion that Catholics are engaging in acts of worship, why is it wrong for Qur’an to point this out, whether you yourself believe you are worshipping her or not, is irrelevant.

The Koran condemns the belief in 3 gods. or God with any partners. This is also Christian Doctrine. The concept of 3 Gods is not only wrong but is not Catholic doctrine either.

There is one God; The Holy Spirit plain and simple. This one God has been witnessed by man in many forms. A burning bush, a pillar of fire, smoke, Father and Son, etc. and probabley many more that do not come to mind at the moment.

The only difference between the Father, son, and Holy Spirit verses the rest of the forms man has witnessed is the fact that man has been a witness to God in these 3 PERSONAL forms simultaneously.

So are you saying that God has 3 “personal forms?”

No that’s not the case. It might be the case with some Muslims who don’t know much about Christianity, but in the same way there are some Christians who believe that Muslims are Pagans.
Muslims ARE pagans, just as all other non-Christians are.

:nope:

The ship has sailed on modalism.
God is three Divine Persons, in ONE united Godhead. “Three-in-One”
Next issue, please.

and that includes Jews, right ?
The Jews that don’t believe in Jesus - yes, they have reverted to paganism. Although a monotheistic paganism, it’s paganism nonetheless (just as the JW).
