I was wondering, since the Eucharist wipea away all venial sin, do you not need to confess sins you committed before you last recieved the Eucharist? Is it ok to confess those sins anyway?
The Church recommends confessing venial sins (cf. Code of Canon Law, 988.2) but does not require it. Mortal sins committed after baptism, on the other hand, must be confessed.
