Hello,
I’ve read posts about attending Mass while on vacation, but my situation will be somewhat unique.
With some family, I plan on traveling next year, and there is the distinct possibility that we’d begin our trip on a Saturday, by train, which leaves early in the morning, arrive in Chicago with a layover, leaving at about 6pm, then arrive in my destination City late on Sunday or very early on Monday morning.
I know I can find a Mass once I’m in my vacation city, but that won’t be on a Saturday or Sunday, so my question is this: Would I be under obligation to find a Mass that Saturday afternoon in Chicago, considering having to take my luggage with me and get to and from Mass in time for boarding?
I’m going to try to arrange it so we don’t leave on Saturday, but it might be unavoidable.
