My Confirmation - December 2006

As some on this forum, may or may not be aware, I was confirmed in December of last year. This Confirmation was in the Old Rite, and was Organised by the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales.

The LMS have recently put up photographs of the event, and I thought I’d put you guys in their direction, seeing as this part of the forum needs a little more ‘happy’ threads, as it were.

The Confirmation was absolutely wonderful, there must have been over 70 actually being confirmed with me, and by the sounds of it, people came from France and Belgium to be confirmed there in the Old Rite.

Definitely congratulations!! My confirmation was so low key I don’t even quite remember what happened. It was at an evening daily Mass. Don’t even remember what time of year it was.

Congratulations!

All of the sacraments are wonderful when validly and licitly administered, and I am glad you and your fellow Old Rite devotees were able to have it as you wished.

(sigh) I do so wish I could be confirmed again, according to this rite. I am sure I would remember that one.
