Please pray for my cousin Kaitlin. She is 31 years old living in an “old folks” home because of her terrible battle with Wilson’s disease for the past 5 years. I got texts from her tonight about how depressed she is that she will spend the rest of her life in a little room at the complete mercy of nurses for her every need. Please pray for her.

When all is darkness and we feel our weakness and helplessness, give us the sense of Your Presence, Your Love and Your Strength.

Help us to have perfect trust in Your protecting love and strengthening power, so that nothing may frighten or worry us.

For, living close to You, we shall see Your hand, Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

a nursing home.

Please pray that God will grant her: remission of
Wilson’s disease; comfort, peace, and patience if
she must remain in the nursing home; fullness
of life here on earth; and a home in eternal glory.

Lord we pray that Kaitlin’s despair will be replaced with hope; we pray that her sadness will be replaced with joy and her anxiety and fear about her current state and her future with your everlasting peace.

Lord touch her heart where no one else can and let your Holy Spirit speak life and renewal into her soul that her eyes may be fixed upon your loving gaze and your tender mercy. let her know that you are with her in this storm and in her feelings of being trapped and alone. May your joy fill her with hope and may she trust in your providence.

Mother Mary pray that God will Heal her mind body and soul and restore her to wholeness in Jesus’ name. Amen

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Kaitlin). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Kaitlin’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
