My husband went to Sunday Mass today.
Just wanted everyone to know. When he woke up this morning, I asked him which Mass he was going to and which kids he wanted to take. He said, “I don’t want to go to Mass.” So, I said, “what are you–twelve?” I was teasing (don’t jump on me for being disrespectful). He got it. I didn’t say anything else. And, pretty soon, he gathered up the boys and went to Mass!!!
Also, one of my friends called to tell us of a meeting to view videos about forming small Catholic communities through Presentation Ministeries (of Cincinnati). She talked to my husband. And, he made a point of clearing the calendar for it. I didn’t even push one little bit. He seems very eager to learn more about it. I’m pretty weirded out by his interest in this. I would never have predicted this. But, I’ll take it!!
I haven’t yet had the conversation about wanting him to be more of a spiritual leader. So, I guess it is all God’s work. Thank you St. Joseph!!
