My friend Chris has suffered more than his share of loss. He lost his first wife and his 12-year-old son to a car accident ten years ago. Five years ago, his second wife decided she didn’t want to be a mother, and left him with an infant daughter and an STD.

This week, Chris and his new wife learnt that they are expecting a child. The same day, Chris’s STD flared up. Chris is terrified that the STD was passed on to his unborn child, and is worried that he’ll lose his family again. Please pray for Chris and his family. This should be a time of joy - please pray that the new baby will be a healthy addition to a happy home. Pray for Chris’s health and happiness, too. He needs it.

Dear Lord protect Chris’s and his 3rd wife’s unborn child from this std disease . instead let this baby be totally healthy and whole and let this child be born and flourish and serve you and promote our Catholic faith to all . Thanks for this dear Lord , in the name of Jesus, amen . I know our LORD is listening to our prayers for your baby Chris, do not worry , , your brother in Christ, John

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
 
O Lord, I beg for Your protection around Chris’ new baby. Keep this baby safe from any disease, and bring joy to Chris and his wife. In Jesus name we pray.
 
Dear Father, watch over this unborn child, and it’s earthly family. May they find peace in knowing that your love for this unborn child exceeds anything we are capable of. May they place their worries in your loving and capable hands, while they await the birth of this blessing you have so graciously granted them. May their fear be replaced with love, and their worries with faith, so their hearts may be filled with peace and joy in knowing your presence in their lives.
