My Friend Needs Your Prayers: spiritual low

Please pray for one of my best friends. He is Christian, but his faith is taking a beating. This has been precipitated by family issues and personal issues, and his current lack of good fortune in finding a group of friends at his college who are Christian or finding a worthwhile extra-curricular activity. He is lonely, and he feels as if his life has no purpose right now. Though none of this may sound all that serious, I know from speaking with him that he is in a very, very dark place, and I’m worried for him. I don’t think I should elaborate right now. Additionally, please pray that he would be converted to the most holy Catholic and Apostolic Faith.

Most Holy Trinity, Father Son and Holy Ghost, I adore you and offer you the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference with which he is offfended and, by the infinite merit of his Most Sacred Heart and of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of you the conversion of poor sinners, especially CollegeKid’s friend. Amen.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, for being such a GOOD friend! Sometimes it can be hard to be a friend to those most in need, thank God for beautiful persons as yourself! God will bless you for your kindness and compassion! 🙂
 
Praying for him. You may want to say a Chaplet of Divine Mercy for your friend, too.
 
Prayers for your friend, and for all those like him, who are experiencing a crisis in their faith!!

Help him to pick up his “shield of Faith” and to be like the soldier that St. Paul encourages us to be, “Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground.”

Let these prayers and those of St. Bede be ever before you as a sweet smelling savor.
