**I think your husband and my husband would love each other:) He seems to really like Henri de Lubac. I don’t know if he’s read The Drama of Atheist Humanism" yet but thats a great one too…

Tell him too he should try Hans Urs von Balthasar…He might like him too and if he can every find any of the “Glory of the Lord” series by him at Half Price GET IT because its proably the cheapest he’ll ever see…Each book new usually goes for 50.00

I love half price books we use to go all the time when we lived by Pittsburgh. We proably have at least 2-300 Theology books that are sitting in our attic in boxes:) **

what a lovely treatise on pregnancy!
I just read it today for the first time and that is what made me post his blog here. He actually told me last week he wants to write an article along the same lines and see if he can get it published.

We LOVE Half Price Books. As a matter of fact we have been there twice in the last two weeks. We spent over 50 bucks but we got a ton of awesome books. We have recently found some rare out of print books for such great prices we could not pass them up. We have tons of theology books all over the house and no bookshelves!! I cannot figure out where to get a good cheap bookshelf.

I know he has some books by Von Balthasar but for the life of me I cannot remember which ones! I am telling you…we have STACKS of books all over my living room.

I am so jealous:)…We moved to city outside of Philadelphia which does not have Half Price Books…I could spend hours and hundreds of dollars in there. BTW how is your husband liking University of Dallas for Theology…My husband got his from Franciscan

Sigh. We just got back from Half Price Books. Again. All extra monies go to this store!! lol. He got some really great books. He found “Paul and Palestinian Judaism” by EP Sanders and I think everyone in the store heard him yell when he found it.

He is really enjoying UD. It has truly helped both of us in our spiritual growth. To be honest though I think he is going to have to drop school. It is simply to much money for a Theology degree. Even with grants and scholarships we owe about 20,000.00 and only a year and a half under his belt. If God provides a way for us to keep going and pay for school along the way then we can do it…but it looks like it will not be possible. I feel really bad because he loves theology so much but with our daughter and a new baby on the way the debt we are accumulating is just not going to work out. Theology degrees…as I am sure you know…don’t make alot of money. So, keep us in your prayers as we try to figure out the will of God.
