Lucy, we do all have gifts given to us in baptism for the benefit of the body of Christ. These are called charisms. Talk to your pastor about your charisms.
You are looking at what others do, look to yourself for what you do. Perhaps you are discounting the contemplative life because you think you have to “do” something like what others “do”-- ministry to prisons, singing, etc. Contemplative prayer, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament-- these too are charisms. While you might not be able to go into a prison and talk to people, I could not sit still in adoration and pray for an hour to save my life. And yet, we need the charism of intercessory prayer very much in this world.
Go talk to your pastor about your spiritual charisms, he may recommend a spiritual director. As for your marriage trouble, go see a counselor even if your husband will not. And talk to your doctor about depression.
