My life ( why do I ONLY care about what other people think of me)

What would be the reason that I only care about what other people think of me. What would be the reason of this thinking ?
I have lived my all life in pride and shame…I compare myself and desire things. I never desired anything for myself truly. I dont know anything about myself. Now Iam 28 and my brain patterns are always in desire of making others envy me, I am always flexing in my thoughts, I am unable to change it, I’m desperate.

What do humble people think all day ?
What are their thoughts ?

Please pray that God may grant me mercy and humility.

Almighty God, We bless you for our lives, we give you praise for your abundant mercy and grace we receive. We thank you for your faithfulness.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace in our mind, body, soul and spirit. We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in our lives.

Please guide our path through life and make our enemies be at peace with us. Let your peace reign in our family, at our place of work, businesses and everything we lay our hands on.

Let your angels of peace go ahead us when we go out and stay by our side when we return.

What you are experiencing seems to be what society is suffering from in a big way. With the explosion of computing in the 90’s and the internet distributing information on a global scale with lightning speed, we have become obsessed with the actions and opinions of others.

Consider that their are millions of people earning money and sustaining their livelihoods with online audiences and social networks, that people have turned their attention inwards to paint a picture and portray a hyped up often misleading image of themselves.

It has become known as our daily performance & if you feel the need to perform for the opinion of others then any negativity if hard felt. If you portray a true and correct image of yourself then no performance is needed and the opinion of others become LESS important

Never forget that you are in total control of your own feelings NOT other people or their opinions.
 
Dear God help this person see that they are loved and Your opinion of them is all that matters. Dear OP you are only young still allow Gods Holy Spirit to grow in you and be gentle with yourself. He is already at work gently asking you to look to Him and not the world bless you amen

Yes, that’s is true, as 90’s kid Orkut,Myspace and Fb look over the lifes. They became so real that you live for the opinions of others on these platforms and lost the authenticity of life. I’m struggling and learning to be myself and like myself again…portraying our true image even to ourself needs Gods assistance. I pray and hope that I may find Gods peace.

Lord please help this young person be humble allow them to see as time changes, so does our desires and brain. May this person walk strong in Christ and spread the good news of your word. In your name, Jesus amen!
