My little brother's headache

Hi guys, my little brother (age 6) has been having an incessant headache for weeks. It’s hard to tell when he’s faking it to get video game time or treats, or when he really means it; he’s quite a drama queen. He’s on asthma medicine that includes the possible side effect of headaches, so we wouldn’t be shocked if that’s why, but we honestly don’t know. He also might be dehydrated; it’s something we’re working on. Please keep him in your prayers as we figure out what’s wrong, and please pray that even if it can’t be fixed, it won’t harm him!
St. Therese of Avila, pray for us. St. Benedict, St. Dominic, Bl. Pier Georgio, pray for us! Amen.

You expired, O Jesus,
but the source of life gushed forth for souls

Prayer for Headaches to St. Teresa of Avila

Dear wonderful Saint, model of fidelity to vows, you gladly carried a heavy cross following in the steps of Christ who chose to be crucified for us. You realized that God like a merciful Father chastises those whom he loves, which to worldlings seems silly indeed. Grant to this little boy relief from great pains if this is in line with God’s plans. Amen.
 
Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Hawkmaid’s brother). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Hawkmaid’s brother’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear Hawkmaid,

I had a similar problem when I was 7, and the first doctor my dear mother took me to gave her the “heebie jeebies” by suggesting it was a brain tumour. Fortunately, she found a wiser professional who pointed out that I simply needed new glasses. Problem fixed. 😃
