It is truly wonderful that you love your mom so much. It says a lot about both you and her.
Try to remember that you never know what is really in someone’s heart. Most of the time, the best situation is if their actions are able to convey what they feel. That makes it easy for everyone to know. But that isn’t how it always is. Sometimes, you just can’t see it. And that can be painful because you really want to know.
Don’t sell the love your mom has for you “short”. Continue to love her as you do. Trust that she loves you the same. I am a mom, and I can tell you the love I have for my child can’t be measured. It has no end. But I am sure there are days when we interact with eachother and she is left scratching her head because my actions don’t reconcile easily with the love I have for her. That is because we are all human. We make mistakes. We miscalculated. We have hard days. I am sure, if you think about it, there have been times your own actions don’t reconcile well with the way you really feel about someone on the inside.
Try not to measure your love against someone else’s love. Love is love. You either love, or you don’t. There aren’t degrees of love. I am sure your mom loves you.
