My nephew, Gabe

It seems as though my family is having a deluge of health problems lately. As mentioned before, my father had a lobe of his lung removed due to lung cancer. My FIL has numerous cardiac issues as well as struggling with an addiction to alcohol. He will probably need a defibrillator placed. My mother just had a total knee replacement on her other knee. Recently, I discovered I have numerous kidney stones bilaterally and a very large ovarian cyst. Now my sister just called and said that her two year old son, Gabriel, was having seizures again and that they are in the pediatric ED. Believe it or not, we were all relatively healthy for a long time prior. Please especially pray for my adorable and loving nephew, that he may “outgrow” these horrible febrile seizures. Thank you all in advance.

Lord, please help all the sick members of this family to carry their crosses lovingly, patiently and with resignation. Heal them completely, if this would be the best thing for their souls, and ease their burdens by sending them some of your sweet consolations. Please help Gabe and take his seizures away if this would be of greater benefit to his soul. Grant a strong faith to all of these sick family members and draw them closer to your Son through their infirmities. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
