Thanks! I noticed that it has a discussion forum. I started a new thread. I will learn more about it as I go. I have been providing Bible tools such as translations, versions, commentaries, etc. I’m like a kid with a new toy!

As far as the blog and answering readers questions, I am not sure what to look for. Is the forum similar to that? Or would I need to just create another page?

Thank you!

Looks great so far! Glad to see your thread turned into a website! 🙂

I would suggest having the Bible Commentaries page just list the books of the Bible. Then you could click on whatever book you want which would then show you the various links to the Church Fathers on that particular book.

You might also cross-reference by individual Church Father in addition to indexing by each book of the Bible. That way you could click on Augustine and find all his Bible commentaries.

I’m not familiar enough with web development to tell you how to do that (or even if it could easily be done).

Of course, I think you should link to Biblia Clerus somewhere on there! 😉

Thanks for the compliments! I have more work to do to it, and more to learn about how to do it. But I am starting to put some of my own works on there too. I have done a commentary on Revelation 1-6 and plus a Catena, using quotes from the Church Fathers and Doctors of the Church. I strongly recommend people checking it out, especially the catena, you will not find another resource that provides as many individiual quotes from the patrisitic writings on Revelation than what I have provided! I have put that Revelation project on hold while I work on an interlinear of the LXX version of Daniel. I have also put one of my first works on the site, that is a translation of the LXX Jonah and a catena of it. I plan to eventually revise the catena since I have found some more patrisitic writings on Jonah that I did not have when I did the project.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have started an Early Church Father collection on my site. I have collected a very large amount, and I still have plans for a lot more! Here is the link to the collection! litteralchristianlibrary.wetpaint.com/page/Early+Church+Fathers+Collection

I have built upon the collection of the one found at New Advent. There are many other Early Church Fathers writings that did not make it into that collction, but I am rounding up what I can and putting them all in order.
