My PC refuses to setup Windows

Hey everyone. I could really use some hardcore prayers. If you all recall, my nearly brand new PC had a virus a couple of weeks ago and I thought I had it fixed. Well, I didn’t. I didn’t reinstall Windows right so I have tried again 3 more times. It still won’t work. It refuses to setup Windows. It is stuck on this one screen and has been like this for more than 24 hours now. In fact, it’s been about 32 hours. I contacted HP Support and they told me it should take 5 hours usually. Well, I am at my wits end. I had a nervous breakdown earlier because of it. Thankfully, I did fix my old HP computer for a backup which is what I am on now. Please pray for me that I’d get my new one fixed really soon. I really want it back badly! :crying:

I am assuming you are installing from CD, but did you full-format the hard drive first?

Is it Vista?
My own one was fatally crippled by a Trojan horse. It took four attempts to reinstall, and download updates; although in this case, it was original Vista without the service pack.
Each time, the hard drive was formatted.

I am assuming you are installing from CD, but did you full-format the hard drive first?

Well, as a matter of fact, my recovery CD performs a format of the hard drive before reinstalling Windows 7.

Is it Vista?

Nope, this is a Windows 7 computer.
