My Rosary Broke And Stalled the Elevator

My rosary caught in the door of our elevator and stalled it for 20 minutes. When the technician came to fix the issue and let us out, he found the crucifix of my rosary and the first bead dented out of shape jammed into the door.

I don’t mean to be paranoid, but is this a sign of some sort?

Yeah, it’s a sign that you might need to buy a new rosary.

It’s not easy to get a rosary stuck in an elevator door. How did you happen to do that?

Anyhow, it sounds like a good opening scene for a fantasy movie: The elevator that goes to Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory, and then back to Earth.

All I can think of is if you get the bill for the service call on the elevator and repairing any damage. Or worse, you get arrested for damaging property.

I would totally go this route! Or you could embellish the story and tell folks the bead is dented because the devil himself try to snatch it from you but you wrestled it away.
