My sister went to catholic school from kindergarten through her senior year of highschool. She is 20 and doesn’t know what she wants to be she completely refuses to have anything to do with God. She won’t go to church and she’d rather go to a psychic then pray about her problems. She said that “Prayer never did s… for me.” I continue to pray for but her awakening hasn’t seemed to happen yet. SOmetimes I have to yell at her because she gets annoying because her and my mom get into fights and she deosn’t care. It makes me so angry and upset. Is yelling at someone for complaing and being rude a sin? please pray for her. I know that God will tug at her heart string. but untill then I just have to keep the faith.

🤷 :blessyou:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

I will be praying for your sister and for you and your family.

**I will pray for your family. Especially your sister. But you just pray, and keep yourself out of it. Sometimes our words can drive people further away from God just because they want to be defiant. It’s a pride thing. It would be much better for your sister and your mom if you could just pray for them and be peaceful.

They may change when they see that you are happy and praying. It won’t happen over night…just hold your tongue honey.**

Father, I come to you with this family and ask you to send your special graces to them. Guide them and protect them from all evil. Make their home a place of peace, love, purity, labor, faith, and hope. I ask this in the name of Jesus. AMEN

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

… a portion of Psalm 85 (86)

"No other god is like you, O Lord,
and nothing compares with your works.
All people – all nations you made –
will come and worship before you;
they will give glory to your name.
For you are great, you work wonders:
you alone are God.

O Lord, teach me your paths,
and I will come to your truth.
Make my heart simple and guileless,
so that it honours your name.
I will proclaim you, Lord my God,
and give you praise with all my heart.
I will give glory to your name for ever,
for your great kindness is upon me:
you have rescued me from the deepest depths."

Praying for your sister’s conversion and peace in the family,

Your a wonderful person to care about your sister like you do.
But please pray for patience as well, as that is what is sometimes needed.
May God bless the both of you.
Sometimes it takes people a long time to realise how truly special God is in their lives.
When she feels the calling, she will return home.
Praying for you and your family.
God bless

I will offer my Rosary this morning for the conversion of your sister and all CAF family members/friends.
God bless you for caring so much for your sister! 🙂

Let us ask the Holy Spirit to continue to work on your sister’s heart. We ask you, Holy Spirit, to continue to call to this sister of ours who is so headstrong. We speak peace to this family and blessing to those who serve you. May this family have strength to continue seeking you, Jesus, above all. Protect the one who would act out now from themselves, and help those who live according to your Word, to serve as witnesses of your love to her.

We now ask her guardian angel: Oh holy angel, placed here to pray for and guide us correctly, to protect the child to which you’ve been assigned. Please pray for her highest good and return to the Holy One with innocence of a child. Amen.

A couple of weeks ago, Fr. Benedict Groeschel had a show on fallen away family members. He said do not become discouraged and to keep praying. Be gentle. Listen carefully to the fallen away family members. He said to ask Blessed Mother Teresa to intercede for fallen away family members. He said once Blessed Mother Teresa is after you, you better watch out! Fr. Groeschel said he is keeping Blessed Mother Teresa very busy with many projects. Blessed Mother Teresa please intercede for our fallen away family members! Amen!

I have placed your petitions within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers.
