My uncle is having surgery today

My favorite uncle, Bill, is having a colostomy today. He’s had various medical problems for a long time, including both bone and colon cancer. Thankfully, the cancer is under control, but the colostomy is a huge change and both he and my aunt Sheri are pretty apprehensive about it. Prayers would be appreciated. They are both Catholic and a Mass is being said for my uncle today, too. 🙂 Thank you!

An update from my mom:
Bill’s doctor for the first half of the surgery came out and told Sheri
that the surgery was going very well, and Bill was doing very well too. He
is confident that Bill will feel so much better after this procedure, and
that his organs look healthy.

Well, the surgery was sucessful but they did apparently find a tumor. 😦 I don’t know many more details but they plan to do a biopsy in a week. So continued prayers would be appreciated, but thank you so much for the prayers thus far.
 
Lord we ask Your kindness for Wanner’s uncle, Bill, who is having a colostomy today. He has suffered much ill-health but the colostomy is a huge change and both he and his wife Sheri need courage and patience to cope with this inconvenient change in their lives. Please give them peace and comfort
