I have to say that every time I use the current Sacramentary I grow to like the ICEL texts less each time. I don’t even have the new Missal yet (ordered but not shipped), so I’ve only seen excerpts, but I also get more eager to use it every time I look at those texts.

I just can’t wait. It’s a month away but it seems like 10 years.

And yes, I do know what you meant–I just wanted to make the point, lest someone else misunderstand me and think I’m faulting a priest who is still using it. I was imagining the posts “so, are you telling me my priest is wrong because we’re still saying Christ has Died…” Didn’t want to go there.

What a wonderful attitude to have. I think I would really like coming to a Mass you celebrated.

i can understand the OP’s concern. i recently converted to Catholicism - 3 1/2 years ago -
and i had the same problem not knowing which would be sung. not knowing the words.
i recently subscribed to The Word Among Us and it has all 4 whereas the Magnificat did not. so i take the Word Among Us to Mass now so i don’t have to mumble.
i am also looking forward to the new Mass. it seems like it has been forever. we actually sang the new “Gloria” at the Saturday Mass. thank goodness for the pew cards.

I’m a long time subscriber to Magnigicat–all 4 are listed. I’ve never known them not to be listed.
