Given what we already know about the atrocious human rights record of NK and the moral cesspool which is communism, this story is, tho sad, almost a nonstory. :crying:

What is more interesting is what we could even do about it. Regime change anyone? Oh wait, we have a bunch of posters who keep trying to convince us that Iraq was a mistake.

Mulus,

Iraq was a mistake because we didn’t let Iraqis take responsibility for their own country. Strengthening dissident groups is what should have been done then, and should be done now. That’s all we really can do to aid the horrible situation.

How could we have strengthened dissedent groups in Iraq? It was a dictatorship led by Saddam Hussein and anyone who rose up was quickly “taken care of”.

I am sure the Korean war will continue someday. Though the fighting stopped ~50 years ago, I don’t think the war ever officially ended.
