…if I hold to charity and that a loving, caring attitude to express oneself is the way…I could well be called ‘holier than thou’!..and if I radically disagree, could well be called derogatory names like ‘heretical’, ‘cafeteria catholic’ etc. and the like…what’s in a name I guess…and too I guess there are always those in our midst who resort to name calling and personal insults…but is this the way to head. I just think it very sad in these forums, as guilty as I may have been at times, that we do at times resort to derogatory terms and name calling…I hope that I will remember as I contribute that my prime call is to loving and caring for those whom I call my brothers and sisters, and perhaps in a special way my brothers and sisters in Chirst…I HOPE!..CAF is very much a cyberspace community of common bond I tend to think.
I have read some really great Post where a contrary argument has been with clarity expressed and expressed in a gentle way…and I recall my College nun teacher telling us “never be afraid to imitate good example”…
