Ecclesiastes 5:10
Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless.

Matthew 6:24
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

1 Timothy 3:3
not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.

1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

2 Timothy 3:2
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Well i will take a 68 camaro convertible. Yes i will agree some of these folks are wrong minded in the thinking and the reasons for there actions are only known to God. Yeat is there any truth to the name it an claim it thing.
God calling things forth from the beginning called those things that were not from the beginning and they were. God in fact applied faith to call into existance that which was not but that which was hoped for. So he released faith.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yeat seen. So faith is a substance. What kind of substance, a spiritual substance of knowing the word.
verily i say what thing you ask for praying with out doughting that thing you shall have.
There is blind faith which will produce nothing and there is real faith which the just live by. So if you have faith the kindom and the provisions of the kingdom are yours and if you have no knowedge you parrish.

I guess St. Paul never learned about “name it and claim it”. He asked the Lord three times to remove whatever thorn it was he had on his side. If St. Paul was smart enough he should have “claimed” and gotten rid of his ailment. But St. Paul took “…pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake”
