My wife was trying to describe a hymn she heard at another parish. The words are “Turn to me, O turn and be Glad,” says the Lord, “For I am God. There is no other none beside me I call your name”

So anyone have any ideas as to the title and where it may be found?

Google it.

There is a hymn called “Turn to Me” with the same text. Music by John Foley. It’s based on Isaiah 45:22-23; 51:12,4,6

Thanks a bunch. That’s the one she wanted me to hear. I will wait until Lent and see if it comes out in our seasonal music before answering if we can us it or not. We always could use a good (and simple) Lenten song. We haven’t had a new one for three or four years.

It’s actually in the OCP hymnals. I don’t know if it is in the current one since I haven’t worked in a church that uses OCP since 2003, but I know it has been in the hymnals every year since I was a kid through 2003.
