Napoleon Bonapart was not a good leader so I don’t understand the purpose of this thread. He was a dictator who ruled by force at a time when France was in chaos due to the Revolution. He set about trying to conquer many areas in Europe including Spain.
He married his love, Josephine only to divorce her as he had many lovers. He wanted an heir to his throne and Josephine was older than him and could not bear children.
