Nashville Dominicans -- need vocations from these states

In order to complete the map of the US for their sisters’ hometowns, let us please pray that they will receive vocations from the following states:

Vermont
Mississippi
Nebraska
Utah
Montana
Nevada
Oregon
Hawai’i
Alaska

They have sisters from 39 states, and 10 foreign countries.

If only I was a little younger I would eliminate one of those states!! I would love to be one of that Order, God Bless, Memaw
 
They run one of our schools. Very wonderful group.

I attended 5 Jesu Caritas retreats. Still in touch with one of the women I met there.

Ah, yes, Mother Assumpta, Sr. Joseph Andrew – those saintly ladies!

Like many others, I was also educated in primary school by the Nashville Dominicans. What a grace to have them!

I pray for increased vocations. Remember we all have a vocation, what we need are people to respond to their vocational callings!!!
 
That’s what our organization and emerging religious charism (two different entities) are working for. Catholics hear the call, but they don’t respond. Parents think “Someone else’s kid, not mine.”

The only people who seem to be responding are the belated vocations, and they can’t find a convent that will take them.

We all have a responsibility to work for vocations. How I wish every parish had a vocations committee!!!
