National Association of Pilot Priests

I am halfway though getting my Private Pilots License and am starting to discern the priesthood. I heard of the National Association of Pilot Priests who allow priests to use their licenses for missionary work or pastoral work. What exactly do they do and how does their organization work? Also, can a priest from any religious order or diocese join or do they only accept priest of a certain type? Thanks

I think a pilot priest in US would be a great fit in Alaska.
