Hello, father of one here looking for information on natural family planning. My wife doesn’t think it is for us but if I showed her the information I think maybe we’d be more apt to investigate it.

ccli.org/

This website is the Couple to Couple League. My husband and I went to a class years ago. We didn’t practice NFP right away, but at the class they gave us a book and a charting booklet.

Years later, we got the book out and were able to learn enough from the book to practice it.

The hardest part for me was the taking temps at the same time every day upon waking. But my husband does that for me now, (well not now, since I’m pregnant) since he wakes up earlier than me. I wake up to a thermometer in my mouth! But really it’s not hard at all. It’s pretty interesting, learning about how the body works.

And it was very reliable.

Tell your wife how the pill causes abortions. It only prevents ovulation around 80% of the time. When ovulation does occur, the pill has the “back-up” effect of preventing the fertilized egg from implanting. The recently conceived child is killed instead.

ccli.org <-first choice for me designed for couples and taught by couples…teaches sympto-thermal (multi-sign crosscheck) and then you can pick how you want to practice after you understand why we teach sympto-thermal…which gives you the most flexibility.

creightonmodel.com/ taught by practicioner very uniform…mucus only…dovetails with naprotechnology

woomb.org Billings…the origional mucus only

familyplanning.net Family of the Americas…very basic system…used in a lot of third world countries…mucus only

You can always look up books on it at the library. They should have some in the birth control or pregnancy section. That’s what I did. Other people have told me that the Catholic churches sometimes do give classes on it as well.

Hope that helps a little.🙂
