Natural law from nature

How do we deduce, or use any other logical tool. The natural law from nature? I understand “laws of nature” isn’t natural law. But Natural law is from watching nature? True? I would like to learn the natural law but other than Aquinas IDK of anyone who teaches it. Can you see corruption in nature?

Is natural law a Catholic idea? I thought it was around always. Maybe it’s just Catholic logic.
